50% Content, Clearly Specified
Our current recycled ceramic program uses 50% post-consumer recycled ceramic content by finished product weight. The approved specification identifies the applicable item, formulation and percentage basis. This statement does not apply automatically to all YST products.
Recovered Ceramic, Not Just Factory Scrap
Post-consumer input comes from ceramic goods recovered after their original use. It is distinct from pre-consumer material generated during manufacturing. Collection, sorting, cleaning, crushing and formulation are reviewed as part of the recycled material process.
Products with Prior Production Experience
Our recorded recycled ceramic experience includes soap dispensers, tumblers, toothbrush holders, soap dishes, toilet brush holders, diffusers, mugs, bowls, plates, canisters and vases. New designs and additional categories require technical evaluation and approved samples.
Scope Certification and Order Evidence
A Scope Certificate describes the certified organisation, processes and product scope. It is not proof that every delivered item is certified. Request applicable order documentation, including a Transaction Certificate where required. Product labelling and claims depend on the relevant rules and approved scope.
Develop an OEM/ODM Collection
Discuss shapes, dimensions, recycled formulation, glaze, decoration, logo and packaging. The team reviews sampling, test requirements and production specifications before an order is approved.
